    What exactly have the Flyers choked on? Are you talking about dropping that 2 goal lead to Detroit? The same Detroit that scored 3 goals in 46 seconds in another recent game?

    My man, Detroit is a fucking powerhouse. The Flyers lost but, I wouldn’t so quick to talk trash just yet. I’ll be more likely to share your sentiment when (and if) the Flyers get knocked out of the playoffs.

    Well, the Flyers haven’t won in Detroit in 21 years now. So there is some validity to the email. Detroit is a great team, but you can’t give up a 2 goal lead like that. They make too many mistakes still.

    When the commentators brought up what was “popular” the last time Philly won in Detroit, I was laughing.

    As for blowing a 2 goal lead, I see it happen all the time. I’m not justifying it, just trying to put it in perspective. But yes, dropping a game like that is generally unacceptable if a team expects to go anywhere in the playoffs.

    Don’t get me wrong though. I may respect the club but, I don’t want Philly anywhere near the Stanley Cup unless it’s being hoisted by someone else. [laughs]
