ESPN just as bad as Eagle Fans

I just watched Sports Center and Steve Young just said that because McNabb had his shoulders straight, his feet down feild and threw a ball over the defenders shoulder, that makes him a GREAT QB??!!! Hey STEVE that’s what he’s supposed to do!!
3 Weeks ago all they talked about how horrible he and the Eagles were doing, and there was a chance he would be traded to the Vikings after his benching and how clueless he was when he came to the rules, this week, he’s great?? In my best SNL impersonation, “Really Steve ,really?

And McNabb saying his benching didn’t affect him? Bullshit. You looked like a 4 year old that got sent to your room for hitting your little sister.

When are they changing the team name to the the Philadephia Westbrookes, he’s the only thing they got that’s worth a damn.

There’s no doubt McNabb is a good QB. Perhaps not as talented as he once was but this inconsistency is troubling. He has the potential to be great.

Of course Westbrook is extremely important to the Eagles success. Nobody will deny that.

“He has the potential to be great.”
I take what I said back from the previous post….

He is an average QB that has had some good games through out his stint in phily. What got gets his number up are his recievers are good. T.O. was the only thing that got McNabb noticed. Plain and simple.

    You mean good seasons?

What got gets his number up are his recievers are good.

What? Other than TO, who was here for ONE season, can you even name another receiver he has had? And if you are able to name that receiver can you keep a straight face while trying to say he is good? I can remember some of those receivers: Na Brown, Todd Pinkston, James Thrash, Charles Johnson, etc.

The good/great receivers McNabb has played with are TO, Donte Stallworth, Kevin Curtis, and Desean Jackson and he hasn’t had any of them around for a significant amount of time.

T.O. was the only thing that got McNabb noticed.

Sorry, he was noticed way before that considering he was in three straight NFC championship games.

I may be biased because he is one of my favorite players so “great” may be a bit out there.
