Eagles fans, how much more trash can you talk legitimately (big word for you, I know) – McNugget is benched, now just shush!

Some of you will look up the word legitimately and answer back, and the others will not take into account what it means and will still try to mount an asinine argument and chant E-A-G-L-E-S at the end because they don’t know what else to say. It never fails.

    The mighty Downagain not play Thursday?? Oh no. I’m sure all the Bird fans will make up excuses as why he got benched, he’s hurt, or his offense was horrible. There will be some excuse.
    Or they’ll do what philly is good at, turnning on their team saying he’s washed up and kick him to the curb.

    The only thing that made McNappy good,and the Eagles a decent team was T.0. The Eagles really shouldn’t have pissed him off, they might not be 5-5-1 this year.

    What are you guys talking about? The Eagles are going to win the SuperBowl! No team has a chance! Don’t make me bring up our Superbowl appearance! We should have won it all but, the NFL cheated & McNabb’s feelings were hurt by Rush Limbaugh so he played bad. And we have the best fans ever. Don’t make us fill up your stadium and eat all your cheesesteaks! E-A-L-G-A-E-S Eagles!!!!!!

    You know the more I think about it, the more I hope McNappy stays in Philly and I hope Andy is the birds coach for years to come. The city and the fans deserve these two idiots.

    Time to start over. The window has closed on the Eagles and they just aren’t a very good team. Time to rebuild around a young QB. McNabb has been great for us and hopefully he has better years somewhere else if the Eagles decide to go in that direction.

    That’s just stupid. McNabb had plenty of good years without TO. TO made him even better but 2000-2003 were also good years. What made him good was his ability to turn a broken play into a huge gain with his legs. Now that he isn’t capable of doing that Reid’s playcalling and gameplans are being exposed.

    TO was good here for 2004 but the Eagles were a good team before that and got to the Super Bowl without TO playing. Obviously he was a nice piece to have but he wasn’t the entire team.

    A lot more went into that than just Owens leaving. McNabb not being able to stay on the field without getting injured is one of them.

    Don’t get me wrong, there is no dispute that Owens is a game changing receiver. I’m just pointing out that this team has a lot of flaws (more than I even thought going into the season).
