Talk about a beat down

I was reading some stuff on digphilly and I found a ranking of the best bars in america. A few bars made the list from Philly and while I have only been to Standard Tap, the others are supposedly very good.

Within the article, there links to 6 different lists (5 of which) where Philadelphia ranks in the bottom two. Me thinks someone at Travel and Leisure really does not like Philadelphia.

Stylish
Adventure/Vacation
Spring Break
(Spring Break? Who in the hell, “I’m am going to Philly for Spring Break, whoohoo!”)
Even more bad rankings in the sub categories if you feel like browsing.

    It was some type of poll they put up. Very flawed but who cares? Chances are most people that voted never even went to Philly. If I remember correctly it was “which of these has the most attractive people” and voters picked one city. Philly didn’t get many votes and there are many possible reasons why (people voting have never been there).

    Oh, shut the fuck up Paula. I’ve been to Philly & I completely agree with where these statistics put that shithole of a city. Even with the museums, historical landmarks & downtown combined; The place is still a fucking dump.

    I’ve been up & down South St., in and around Old Philly, and even checked out the Halloween penitentiary tour and guess what? I still found myself wondering what kind of utter desperation would make someone want to voluntarily live in that dump of a city.

    A majority of the people are assholes. The cops are arrogant pricks (probably because of the assholes they deal with day in and day out). And overall, it’s a very depressing city to visit. Oh and one other thing. The American Obesity Association has ranked Philadelphia in the top 10 for overweight people every year between 2000 and 2005. Surprise, surprise.

    So, stop crying like the pie-eyed kiddie fiddler you are Paula. Philly deserves to be exactly where it’s at in these polls, you whiny fucking bitch.

    I was commenting on the flaws of the poll. I have no idea where the hell cops, Halloween, and obesity came from. You are one miserable fuck. Seriously.

    The great thing about not liking a place is never having to go back. But hey, complaining about it every day like a little bitch is better.

    Being that I’ve been to Philly, I think the polls are “on par” with reality that Philly is a dump. And I’m not talking about taking a shit at a gas station in North Philly. I’m talking about sections of Philly often touted by tourism books/sites.

    My point? I totally disagree with your stupid ass assessment that Philly is incorrectly portrayed because (you think) the people casting votes in these polls haven’t been there.

    My point? I don’t care what YOU think about it. I gave my reason for why the poll was flawed and that’s it. I’m not going to get into a long winded discussion on why you don’t like the cops, Halloween attractions, or that you didn’t get a cherry on your ice cream cone when you visitied Philly.
