As I sit here watching the Nationals Phillies game and seeing that my Mets have to now depend on the Nationals I come to the realization that the phillies absolutely suck!!! If they end up clinching the east this year it is only because the Mets Pitching blew it and not because the Phillies are a good team. Their offense is a pimple on the ASS of the mets offense. LOL Phillies truly suck!

    Yes, the Mets pitching is a huge reason why they might miss the playoffs, but their offense is not nearly as good the Phillies. Of course, it is easy to say the Mets offense is awesome on the day they scored 13 runs. Where was the offense the last three weeks?

    The Phillies pitching sucks. They got back into it because of their offense. The only great pitching performance was by Hamels last night.

    Tell yourself whatever you need to feel good about your team. I think it is sad to tell you the truth.

    Maybe your team wouldn’t have to depend on the Nationals if they hadn’t lost 5 of 6 to them. I got an excuse with logic you would understand. The Mets only won the division last year because the Phillies pitching sucked. Is it only stupid when I say it?

    The Phillies haven’t even won the division and you are already making up excuses instead of giving the team credit.

    Who can you put the Phillies down when they beat the mets the last 3 series we played. The mets suck and they always will. This was the biggest choke in Major league history. The Mets are a bunch of over paid over hyped players who ran out of steam at the end of the season. The Philles won 14 of the last 17 games while the mets lost 11 of the last 14 games at home. It shows how bad the fucking mets are that they couldnt even win games for their loser fans.

    Great job! You’re right the Phillies always over succeed! They improved their playoff numbers so much this year. To thin befor this year they only mad the playoffs 7.25% of the time. They have that number up to eight percent. WOW! If they win the world series, they bring that average up to 1.6%. They’ll be at .8% if they lose though.
    Bigger chokes in MLB history:

    Yankees three up on Red Sox and blow it, losing series 4-3.
    1964 Phillies blow 6.5 game lead with 12 games remamning.

    Nobody really actually believes that the Phillies will win the World Series, right? Can you honestly think they have what it takes? Seriously, aren’t they very fortunate to even be in the playoffs? Don’t you need pitching to win in the Playoffs, not to mention the World Series?

    This reminds me off those fools on the first round of American Idol, the one’s that think they can sing.

    Once you’re in any team can catch fire and win the World Series. The Phillies do have the pitching and their bullpen has come up big the last few weeks. Am I saying the Phillies will win the World Series or even make it through the NLDS? No. Do the Phillies have a shot to win the World Series? Absolutely. The fact of the matter is the Phillies have to be better than only 3 teams to win the World Series. Very possible.

    that was the reason why the Mets tanked. The Phillies got lucky and the only thing they did in the playoffs is play 3 extra games than the Mets. lose 3 extra games, and made the Mets smell the blood for next season. The Phillies are going to wish that they even thought about making the playoffs this year. Because they SUCK LIKE THE EAGLES.
