The eagles have had possibly the worst offseason losing 3 key players i guess they like their current rate of winning nothing.

    Lost 3 key players? Who?

tb2003 must mean Deborah Reeder, Barbara Sonies, and Elizabeth Keller. They’re the only three players in Philadelphia that don’t have a history of choking when it counts.

No matter, all they need to do is fit Smarty Jones into an Eagle’s jersey. They’ll win the Superbowl for sure!

It doesn’t matter that they lost anyone. Their fans have them winning the superbowl yet again because they’re morons.

I didn’t know that going 10-6 was worse than going 4-12. But tb2003 must be right of course he must know something.

Donte Stallworth? The guy who mised several games last year and has a bad hammy? The guy who has never caught over 1000 yards in a season?
    Replacement: Kevin Curtis

Jeff Garcia? The old man? The guy who wanted big money to be a backup?
Replacements: AJ Feeley/Kevin Kolb. Younger is better.

Jerimiah Trotter? A player we released is not a loss you idiot so I won’t even get into that one. Good to see a team has quickly scooped up that HUGE loss though.

Stallworth is better than Curtis. If you think otherwise, I expect it from an Eagle fan.

Let me finish that one for you Paul. They guy that came in when the Eagles were 5-4? The gu thatwent 5-2 in the last seven games to get the Eagles the division? That Garcia right? Yes those to are just as good.

I just find it funny that when the Eagles had Trotter the fans would never shut up about him. Now he is gone so it is no loss.

You know you’re complete moron right? 725 yards and 5 touchdowns is bad. Yes you have Mcnabb back so are we going to pretend that he didn’t have three season ending injuries? Spikes is an olb you moron. They are not superbowl contenders at all why you would say something like that is incredible to me being that you spastics say that every year and you are always wrong.

Yeah, and the world is supposed to end in 2012.

A Vince Lombardi Trophy in Philly VS.
The arrival of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse…

    Oh the excitement!
It’s a virtual neck and neck in the race for the most insanely stupid prediction from chemically imbalanced dimwits!

Never said Kurtis was better than Stallworth genius, but the dropoff isn’t dramatic. Sorry.

Did you know that that Feeley took the Eagles to a 4-1 record to lead them into the playoffs? No? It’s ok you can keep going about the 5-2 greatness of Jeff Garcia.

Trotter was cut. The coaches would not cut a “key player”. Get that through your thick skull. He is not as effective as he once was.

Not once did I say I didn’t know Feely led them to a 4-1 record. Of course at that time you Eagle fans talked about him like he was the second coming. However, I pointed out what Garcia did because you did what I expect a Philly fan to do. You only pointed out his negatives to make the Eagles look better. No matter what you say Garcia is a better quarterback. Of course I expect you to deny it like any Eagle fan would.

I know he was cut just because he wasn’t a key player and was cut doesn’t mean it can’t be a loss. Get that through your thick skull. An example is Green bay. They cut Green. Are you telling me that isn’t a loss?

Garcia wanted a payday to be a backup QB genius. It wasn’t going to happen. Other positions are more important to spend money on.

Trotter was becoming a liability. He was great against the run and terrible against the pass. Teams were starting to take advantage of that poor pass coverage. Time to let go. Players Reid has released hardly ever make an impact on another team (with the exception of Burgess which nobody can fault him for).

Garcia wanted a payday because he did a god job last year and wouldn’t be suprised if he had to take on a bulk of the season since Mcnabb is hurt too often.

Trotter is a good LB you can’t say he isn’t. Once again because he was cut doesn’t mean it can’t be a loss.

And the tough decision had to be made not to resign Garcia.

We’ll see how Trotter does elsewhere. There is only one week until the regular season and he still hasn’t been signed. I wonder how that Tampa workout went.
