Have no fear Philly haters, The Phillies still have to play teams like the Marlins and Pirates, and you know what happens when they play opponents that suck. They shot their load against the Mets.

True. We’ll see if this season can be different.

I would not be so concerned about a city sports team not winning a championship. It is your whole city that sucks. It is the worst big city in the United States of America. Your airport is the worst big Airport in the United States of America. The septa train system is at least triple the rate of any big city in america. Most murders in any big city in america. There is a penalty tax you must pay if you work in Philadelphia and live in philadelphia. This weekend Philadelphia Magazine front page “Worst Parents” yep that is phili. You guys throw snowballs at Santa Claus. The list goes on and on and one. Dont worry about sports that is the least of this horrible cities problem, wake up, do something get it cleaned up!! Dont you have any pride?

See that part JR? I was mocking his speech. Sorry you didn’t get that. Jesus christ, you are an idiot.

Paul, name calling… Well that is just like a blind homer, resorting to name calling. When facts can not be proven otherwise. Also Paul, as loyal as you are one has only to read your post and know that not only are you not that smart, you are a bitter troll as well. You and your city deserve each other. I mean where else but the city of brotherly hate does it make national headline news on a murder count? Except Camden maybe.
    Enjoy your day homer.

BTW: Calling someone a name just proves my point “Asshole”.

Blind homer? Did I say I disagree with Lenny? What the hell am I trying to disprove here that I would need facts for? Jr, do you even know what is going on here? I swear you just jump into a conversation and start making stuff up. Are you drunk?

You calling me unintelligent and a troll is pretty damn ironic considering the fact that the description fits you perfectly. I would also throw in the fact that you know nothing about sports (which has already been proven here before)

I am still trying to figure out what argument is going on here. Wow. I guess that is what happens when a moron enters the conversation.

Several points need to be made, Lenny.
    1. If the Pennsylvania government would give Philadelphia any money then the tax wouldn’t be there.
    2. The Septa train system is fine-I take it everyday- and “triple the rate” doesn’t make any sense.
    3. I’m tired of all this bullshit by people who are from no where. If you give me your city I bet I can say tons of bad things about it too.

Once again the Philthies are popping their load against the Mets. I don’t know why the Mets can’t beat this erratic team of losers. It’s still OK Philly haters, they still have to play the Washington Nationals, which are certain losses. They get jacked up for the Mets and will loose the rest. Rest assured, they will not make the playoffs. BET THE FARM ON IT!!!! I really hate this team and their asshole manager. I can’t believe they are still in the race. I hate the wildcard. They make a legitimate argument as to why there shouldn’t be one. They are just plain lucky. God hopes they only fail!!

You hate the wildcard? How about hating the fact that a team in every division has to make the playoffs? The team that makes the playoffs in the NL Central might not even be in the top 5 in the NL standings. Hell, they will barely be in the top ten and you are worried about the wild card?

Gotta agree with Paul. The NL Central makes the case over the last couple years to get rid the wild card, not the Phillies.

I can’t say the Phillies deserve to win anything but they are 10 games over .500 right now. The NL Central leader (Cubs) have the SIXTH best record in the NL. So at least three teams with better records miss the playoffs if the season ended today. Ouch.

You know what Dominick. The Phillies hate the wildcard too. That’s why they took the division title instead.
