As a typical moronic eagle fan, you just don’t get it.
It’s always “This is our year…hurrrrr…,” when in reality, it’ll never be your year.

    So you dug all the way back to 1948, 1949 and 1960 for your pathetic championship statement. I agree with the other guy. You need to huff some more airplane glue calling the Eagles “World Champions”.

    But of course you felt it appropriate to dig that far back and INSISTED on leaving out stats that would make your fucking pathetic Eagles look like the losers they were during this time span. (sigh – no surprise coming from an asshole philly fan).

    So, without further ado, Let me interject some stats from 1933-1966. I’m using the years from the Eagles inception(1933) to 1966 (just before the first Superbowl in 1967). Why? because if you’re going back that far to use stats in your favor, well, so am I. Here we go:

    The Eagles managed:
    13 winning seasons
    19 LOSING seasons
    1 even season
    (between 1933-1966)
    Oooops! Legato must have forgotten to mention that. No worries, I got your back legato!

    The Eagles won the Conference/Division title a grand total of FOUR times between 1933-1966. No, I didn’t stutter, I really said FOUR times. That’s really impressive! Where’s that little fact legato? Have a brain fart?

    It took the Eagles until 1944 to muster their first winning season and it took until 1947 until they won their first division title. Hmmmmm, forgot to mention that, huh legato?

    Well, the only thing I can think to say is…

    For proving yet again why philly fans are fucking ignorant jackoffs who only use facts that are in their favor. You have joined the elite ranks of philly douche bags like Paul & dk1325! Congrats!

    Why the hell would fans use facts not in their favor? What fans talk about stats not in their favor? You act like Philly fans are the only ones to do it. Do you ever hear about Dallas’ 1-15 season, do you ever hear Buc fans talking about their pathetic start in the NFL? Do you ever hear Patriot fans bring up the fact that it took them 40 years to win a championship? No. It’s only wrong when Philly fans “use facts to make their teams look good.” But go ahead and bring up the facts that make the team look bad. You can do it for pretty much every team in the NFL.

    If you look over this site you will see fans of other teams yelling “Woo hoo ‘insert team name here’, Super Bowl champs of ‘insert year here’”. Why don’t they mention all the years they sucked? Oh yeah, because then that wouldn’t make their team look good.

    Derf,

    There is no other defense. I am a fan of teams that haven’t won a championship since 1983. The baseball team is a joke and the hockey team have been the biggest chokes out of all 4. We all know about the Eagles.

    So there. That is me admitting how bad the teams have been lately. Now I will continue to defend the team any way possible. When your only ammunition is from 20 years ago you have no choice but to dig up the past. So keep the “repercussions” coming.
