    Considering this site was (originally) registered to someone in the Tampa area, and this site appeared after the Bucs beat the eagles for the first time after a streak of the eagles beating them. I’m gonna go out and say he’s a bucs fans.

    Actually Adam you are incorrect.

    This site was set up and running right after the beginning of 2002 season which ended with the Eagles losing to the Bucs in the Conference Championship game.

    I don’t where you got someone from Tampa owned this domain. Back when I registered the name there was no history on it and even today you can look and see the history goes back to when I set it up.

    I also owned tampasucks.com but no one gave a crap so I let it go after a year.

    Secondly, you attempt to appear knowledgeable about Philly fans but you don’t understand the retarded redneck symbolism that is commonly associated with Philly fans. My guess? You’ve either never ventured outside of Philly or you could just be a moron (I’m going with the latter).

    My guess (like most Philly idiots) is that you deny all accounts of what people outside of Philly think of Philly fans. The old “I don’t see it, so it doesn’t exist” child mentality. It’s ok though.

    I am very civilized. I love the Philly sports teams but I will not get into arguments about other Philly fans. I never said I ignore the perception of a Philadelphia sports fan. I simply said they do not talk as if they were from the South. You can sit there and call me an idiot all you want but the fact of the matter is that I didn’t once insult you. That is not very Philly of me, is it?

    Also, Philly fans aren’t viewed as rednecks. They are viewed as idiots who care about sports too much. I have been living here for many years. You came here because you hate Philadelphia and the fans. Cool. Make all of the false claims you want. Ignorance is bliss.

    Also if you are trying to use middle PA and South Jersey as a representative of Philly fans then you are way off. Everybody in PA is not a Philly fan and everyone in Jersey is not a Philly fan. There are several sport teams in PA and Jersey. This conversation is ridiculous. Most Philly fans are in Philadelphia which is far from hickville.

    We’re talking about a generalization here. It is universely accepted that these hicks you speak of come from the South. If you want to talk about a part of PA that nobody on here even cares about than fine. By your mentality we can generalize any fans as hicks including Giant fans, Steeler fans, Cowboy fans, etc as long as we find a part of the state that has country in it. Ok. Makes sense.

    Also, the South Jersey comment along with the PA comment has led me to realize you left out North Jersey. Hmmmm, could I be talking to a Giants fan from North Jersey?     I’m with PhillyB on this one -I’m from the Philadelphia area and have heard people from outside the area refer to us as hicks and rednecks before -I think its because of how rowdy fans get -Also I have seen a lot of philadelphia fans from new jersey who really are hicks

    I have been all around outside of PA and never heard Philly fans referred to as hicks. Maybe they didn’t want to get me upset. I don’t understand it. Hicks marry their cousins and fill the back of their pick up with water and call it a swimming pool. Don’t see that much from Philly fans.
